Bring a saucepan of water to the boil and add the blend of frozen mushrooms. Return to simmer and drain the mushrooms well. Melt 30g of butter in a hot frying pan then add the blend of mushrooms. Cook over a high heat for about 6 min stirring regularly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve with white and red meat, poultry or game.
Try adding a little garlic and chopped parsley just before removing from the heat and, if you want, four table spoons of thick cream for a special treat. Once cooked, you can also add the mix to an omelette.
