In the pressure cooker : put the asparagus in the basket with 1/2 litre of water. Cook for 4 minutes as soon as the valve turns. Drain.?In a saucepan : bring a pan of unsalted water to the boil. Simmer the asparagus for 25 minutes. Drain.
Ideal as a cold starter or serve with a quiche, tart or risotto.
Green asparagus are also delicious with a little Parmesan.
